Adult-Specific Historical Picture Books

At its crux, this project seeks to create an adult-specific picture book that conveys the essence of the ancient Japanese red-light district, the Yoshiwara. Geishas, Courtesans and Kabuki Actors will, quite literally, take centre stage, guiding the viewer on a virtual tour of niche performative arts within the decadent domain of Edo.
