About
The Creative Showcase is a public-facing website where University of Lincoln students from all creative disciplines exhibit their best work. It is promoted by the University as a first ‘port of call’ for employers looking to commission current students and employ recent graduates, as well as showcasing the impressive, creative work produced at the University of Lincoln to prospective students. The website also provides a platform for students to view each other’s work, encouraging inter-disciplinary collaboration.
The Creative Showcase gives all University of Lincoln students (undergraduate levels 2, 3 and postgraduate) an online space to feature their best visual and audio work, whilst allowing them to update their profile as their creative practice develops. Students can also link their Creative Showcase profiles to their own websites or online portfolios, giving site visitors the opportunity to see more of the student’s work, helping them to get noticed and build a professional profile in their respective fields.
Created by the Digital Student Experience team in collaboration with Digital Education and the College of Arts, the Creative Showcase was designed by Interactive Design student Tom Moore, prior to his graduation in 2019.
The site sits alongside Creative Connect, which helps students from all disciplines at the University of Lincoln find creative collaborative partners for creative projects.
