My entry for this award is based around William Beech and all of the thoughts going on inside his head. Starting with London illustrated at the top, as the place in the forefront of his mind, to leading down to Mister Tom's house who is much closer to his heart and much safer with the countryside setting. The London skyline and bombers, highlights the period in which this book is set in.
