A Floating City Expansion along Brighton’s Coastline

The Floating City Expansion off the coast of Brighton aims to provide a response to high housing costs and a mass housing shortage across the UK. The design aids the environment by utilising unique sustainability strategies to make the design completely self-sufficient. As the population grows the modular geodesic dome design enables the design to expand in order to meet population needs.

  • Predicted Floating City Expansion Through Time: The city will aim to grow as it's population expands.
  • Design Masterplan showing how the domes will encompass residential and commercial elements to meet the need of visitors and residents
  • Exploded Axonometric showing how the elements work and fit together
  • Exterior Visual showing levels of activity and movement around the site
