Arča: A Story In Colours

This is a short film that is personal to me and it is made to raise awareness in people with invisible disabilities. The whole project was filmed and edited by me due to COVID-19 restrictions. This is partially inspired by Ang Lee's Hulk with its uses of transitions and my main inspiration was my brother Arturs, the main character in the film.

  • The title sequence made in Adobe After Effects to produce motion tracking effect.
  • The underwater shot produced in Sony Vegas from scratch was made to imitate underwater scenes.
  • The shot of Arča running on a beach was colour graded to achieve the look that is appealing to the viewer.
  • A colouring book which is the underlying theme of the film: different colours represent different locations.
