Food Production Centre: Cultured Meat Lab
The Newark Navigation Centre will be transformed into a cultured meat lab. With a growing population, it will become challenging to supply meat products across the globe in 2050. Choosing to focus primarily on the production of cultured meat due to the fact that cows contribute the most greenhouse gas emissions to the climate in comparison to all other forms of livestock.
