Recreationalisation

Implementing a terminal that resolves the UK’s need for a 3D travel network, providing a recreational localisation of escapism, we can offer a resolution to the repurposing of existing infrastructure. A set of occupations and ideological standpoints that are both sustainable in their nature and adaptive for the future.

  • Why do people travel? Why will people travel in the future?
  • Travel is expected to turn from the current system of two-dimensions, which within the UK is fundamentally flawed, to a three-dimensional system.
  • Through analysing the three key areas of the airport; outward journey, head house, and return journey, a 3D visualisation formstp summarise our analysis.
  • From the summation of the analysis, we filtered through to highlight key information from the three key areas of synthesis in the drawing.
