SINCIL BANK: A Generational Re-generation

The brief for this design project was to produce our own take on a community arts centre.

The context was challenging with lack of community and monotonous architecture.

The new structure is hidden within the existing row of terrace housing and uses an external steel frame to continue the language of the iconic terrace homes in the area whilst also offering structural support.

  • A diagram depicting identifying a typological narrative within Sincil Bank
  • A diagram depicting exploring the use of multidisciplinary typologies
  • A diagram depicting multidisciplinary drawings require multi purpose drawings, here is an axonometric view, a 2D detail section, and a visual all rolled into one.
  • A diagram depicting the Vision. A community arts centre sitting perfectly within the context of the existing architecture.
