It has been stated that in 21st Century loneliness has become an epidemic. The aim of this project is to create a space which feeds from the ever-changing local community and surrounding urban and natural environment and bring them closer together. A space that grows with its users and where no-one will ever be able to experience loneliness in any way shape or form.

  • All elements on site, including seating,ponds, landscaping, façade, etc. merge together to form one single body both directly
  • People get closer together by looking after the fishes that populate the site. Through the constant movement in and around the ponds, users get to constantly change location
  • The facade is designed to grow, develop and change along the community. As more and more people interact with the building and create more panels they will slowly but surely cover the entire facade.
  • The layout of the building is designed considering users and visitors.
