Ghost Cities of China – Development of a ‘Vertical Village’
Farmers are being forcibly relocated from rural areas in Inner Mongolia into Kangbashi, a ghost city that is currently only at 10% of its maximum capacity.
Offering an alternative to the modern highrise, the project aims to provide education and familiarity for the relocated farmers and integrate them with city life.
