Rejuvenating condemned coastal communities

A solution to the rapidly disappearing residential neighbourhoods in many erosion-vulnerable coastal locations, by constructing an erosion-resilient platform (end-bearing piles extending through to sea bed) for new properties. Themes include accommodating existing equestrian paddock land, prefabrication, expandability, and introducing holiday properties in partnership with adjacent holiday park.

  • Cost-effective lorry-delivered modular house construction.
  • Sloping rail system for retrospectively deliverable and moveable residential units.
  • Aerial view indicating three regions: Existing properties, new agricultural properties and small holiday properties on the slope.
  • Views through various residential units, including the sloping unit. Plans are strictly restricted to a uniform-sized steel frame.
