Sustainable Boat Repair Facilities

This project required a boat-making facility as well as a café, it also had to be as sustainable as possible for this I decided to use the ground as insulation as well as Ashcrete for the retaining walls.

  • For my initial design and ideas I was exploring forms as well as how to the building would sit on the site, I was also exploring sustainable ideas Concept Ideas
  • The first two pictures here are my concept model that I 3D printed to see how the building would look on the site. Then the other models are a final model to show in depth how the space would feel. Concept Model and Section Model
