Tamagotchi App Concept

Tamagotchi is a beloved brand that seems to have remained within the 2000s, never truly capturing the same hype as when it was first released. My concept to revitalise the brand is to create a companion app that serves to reflect your own actions - rewarding the player for fulfilling self care tasks in order to keep your Tamagotchi satisfied while assuring your own care.

  • Anatomy of the companion Tamagotchi app.
  • Food diary system serves as a way to nourish your companion and inform the player of the nutritional factors of various foods.
  • Companion page & passport system which can be viewed by other players when app is in roaming mode - encouraging interaction amongst users and rewarding relationship building.
  • Reminders to give the player advice on how to improve their own surroundings amongst other things, as well as the activity system encouraging regular exercise for the player incentivised by rewards.
